Lingotot – ISEA Membership

Introduction

Lingotot is a children’s languages franchise offering a fully supported, comprehensive education package across 8 languages including Spanish, French, German and Mandarin.  Lingotot teaches award winning language classes to over 20,000 children each and every week in community groups, preschools, online, after school clubs, holiday camps and uniquely by teaching languages directly in primary schools as languages facilitator for the Department of Education.

The Lingotot method of language acquisition makes use of active, communicative and interactive teaching approaches which come naturally to young learners. Acquisition is through TPR and CI methods using songs, pictures, stories, games, drama and play.

Lingotot expanded from the UK into Ireland in late 2018, through its pilot unit in South Dublin, run by Sofia Colás and is actively looking for partners who are passionate advocates of children acquiring languages early on in their lives, have an entrepreneurial spirit and sound business acumen.  

The demand for all children’s activities continues to grow, but in particular, language acquisition is a life skill many parents don’t have the time, knowledge and confidence to provide by themselves.  As a trusted specialist facilitator, Lingotot prides itself in being a brand renowned for quality in the education services sector.

Did you know?

Lingotot is the only UK and Irish children’s language franchise to offer Arabic, French, German, Italian, Irish, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish to children aged 0-12.  All of their franchisees obtain the Level 3 Award in Business Franchising – the only dedicated business franchise qualification in the UK and Ireland. Lingotot is also closely aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage (E.Y.F.S.), the New National Curriculum, the Curriculum for Excellence and the Irish curriculum and is a facilitator of Spanish and French in a number of primary school programmes.

 Also, Lingotot was a finalist of the recent Irish Franchise Association Awards 2022, the single largest event for the franchising community in Ireland.

Why ISEA?

Lingotot Ireland is a new member of the ISEA. As a provider of modern foreign  language classes and in particular Spanish classes  – run by Sofia Colás, a Spanish native living in Ireland for many years –  we welcome the opportunity to network, connect and explore potential leads within the association supporting the growth of the Lingotot business opportunity in Ireland.
