Isea was established in 1989 under the patronage of the Spanish Ambassador to Ireland with the main objective of promoting the expansion of trade and investment between Ireland and Spain.

ISEA works in close co-operation with the Commercial Office of the Spanidh Embassy, as well as Enterprise Ireland, IDA, SIBN -Spanish-Irish Business Network- (our sister association in Spain), and other bilateral organisations, trade and cultural institutes in Irelans.
